Friday 30th October

Looking forward to relaxing evening after a late night last night playing Trivial Pursuit at Barbs, Sean & Chelle beat us !!! Charlie is delightful, Leanne looks really well and relaxed.

Thursday 29th October

Sean went to new bespoke barbers, 'Close Shave', Karl did a great job on his hair and he really enjoyed the 'Turkish' shave.

Met Barb, Chelle, Leanne & Charlie at the Yacht for tea.

Wednesday 28th October

Paul on night out so Sean & I went to Cheshire Yeoman for tea, walked there and back and had a lovely meal, the Italian meat platter to share then I had a delicious chicken dish with spinach and new pots and Sean had steak ciabatta with chips, shared a cheeky Merlot !!!!

Tuesday 27th October

Bought a beret which caused hoots of laughter from Paul & Sean - still didn't stop Sean from fancying himself as David Beckham though !!!!!

Monday 26th October

Cooked a tasty chicken dish then went for a long walk, watched University Challange and got thrashed by Sean, again !!

Sunday 25th October

Went to Stanney Woods, out for lunch and then home to watch Flawless, a film I had got from Lovefilm.com, it was quite good, early night as the clocks had gone back, winter starts here !!

Saturday 24th October

Cleaned house from top to bottom, took Sean to visit his nan, had a good walk with Paul when he got home from work, dropped Sean in Chester and started watching season 3 of the Tudors, very relaxing day !!

Friday 23rd October

Lunch was interrupted by a flypast for HMS Illustrious, it was quite amazing, especially the helicopter formation. A bit cloudy and taken with phone.

Thursday 22nd October

Rotten weather again, got some lovely cardi's from George @Asda, highlight of the day was getting a new decal sign put on office door !!!

Wednesday 21st October

Mum made a delicious lentil soup for lunch, Paul made a lovely butternut squash one on Monday, hearty soup is the ideal thing for this weather, went on two walks, first with Sean then Paul came home from nights early so went out again.

Got my bull in Salou but only just put it on the car.

Tuesday 20th October

Weather atrocious so trying to fit walk in between rain, Sean and I managed a 2 mile one, walking very briskly thanks to Sean ! Did have a nice sky to look at although the rainbow does not look as good on a photo.

Monday 19th October

Back to work and starting a new walking regime, Paul & I walked to Woodhey, took just over an hour, left our Sean in peace to watch a new Battlestar Galactica movie !!! Watched some Tudars and enjoyed some lovely olives in my new bowl bought by Ken as El Rastro yesterday.

Sunday 18th October

El Rastro !!! Had a great morning at the market, breakfast in Ken & Lucy's local then back to the market, Paul fancied snails so off the bar, could not of even thought about eating one !! Left at 4, metro then bus to airport, good flight home, stopped for chinese as Sean was starving !!!

Saturday 17th October

Did some exploring on our own, Paul wanted to see the Bernabeu, got metro map and worked out our route, had a lovely morning checking out the stadium, managed to get into dining room overlooking pitch, brilliant, apartment for lunch at 3, delicious, then a lovely stroll by the Palace.

Friday 16th October

Pauls birthday, had a lovely day with Ken showing us the sights, Jan & Gaz arrived after a arduous journey laden with Ken & Lucy's stuff, we had Cava and cake on the terrace than hit the bars in La Latina, Paul insisted on oysters, so off we went to the Mercado de San Miguel, a great night rounded off with cake back at the apartment, back to the Apolo for 3ish !! Jan & Gaz are fantastic company.

Thursday 15th October

Madrid for a couple of days, apartment is lovely, the terrace especially, went out for a tour of the city, had some lovely snacks, mussels, tortilla, olives, whitebait, calamari followed by ice cream when we got back to Ken's !!!

Wednesday 14th October

Having an issue with winter sun blinding us, needed proof for Peter so took this one with my phone, it came out quite jazzy !!!

Sean went to a gentlemens evening where Sugar Ray Leonard was guest speaker, he is thrilled with this photo !!

Monday 12th October

Went to Pams to check out holidays for her and Pam W's 50th in 2011, they have settled on Cappadocia in Turkey, it looks gorgeous.

Sunday 11th October

Paul working, Sean & I cooked a lovely lamb dinner for when he comes in, autumn has officially arrived as shown by my lovely Virginia Creeper.

Saturday 10th October

Had a lovely day with Paul & Sean, went to The Plough in Deeside for lunch, The Swan for first half of England match, then home to watch Godfather, what a marvellous film.

Earlier Paul & Sean had gone to Dan's for Sean to meet Lauren.

Wethers for tea that back home to do our jigsaw !!! , fed up of it already !!

Thursday 8th October

Introduced Sean to the writing of Harold Robbins, Paul's mum gave me a copy of this one over 30 years ago, fantastic book and a great writer of this genre.

Took the car to be washed, check out how excited Sean was !!!

Tuesday 6th October

Tried out new pedometer with a walk to my mums, apparently I did it in 75 steps !!! Walked home and got caught in torrential rain even my socks were soaked thru, Sean now has a cold !!!

Monday 5th October

Bought new pedometers as mine had gone missing, Sean & I went for a walk, I did 3245 steps, he did 6125 !! I knew £2 was too cheap, so bought another one spent £10 this time, see how I get on tomorrow.

Still with Mia, helping Paul with the dishes she decided to put her feet in the bowl, she loved brushing Sean hair, went to mums, Mia had great fun with Pepi & Rooney, had a lovely lunch then just chilled out for rest of the day.

Not sure who had the most fun, Mia or Sean !! As usual she was as good as gold, kept Sean on his toes, was quite happy to have two men feeding her grapes !!

Went to work and for a good walk afterwards, really enjoying getting back into the walking especially now the weather has turned a bit cold, good walk defo warms you up.

Went for 10 mile bike ride with Sean, it was quite hard cycling as there was a strongish wind but felt great afterwards.

Had a lovely meal at the Yeoman with the girls, they refused to pose for photo though !!

John saved the day and sent me this one of Mia in an outfit I had got her for her birthday.
