Glorious weather, went to Manchester, Ken treated us to a banquet at Zouk, it was delicious. Hard to decide best bit, for me I think it was the chicken and ginger dish.

Saturday 30th May

Big day has arrived, unfortunately did not go to plan, boys did their best but Chelsea were just better than us on the day, had a great time though, Barbs all day then to Dots for her pre-birthday celebrations, never mind we can do it all again next year !!

Friday 29th May

Tension is mounting, I am excited, anxious and hopeful all the same time !!, build up has started on Radio City, lets keep everything crossed for tomorrow, very one track minded today, this is my farm on Facebook !!

Thursday 28th May

Highlight of the day was getting nails done !!! Got a thingy for my phone, hopefully it will be lucky for Saturday.

Went for a swim, seen this lovely shrub, only had my phone so did not really do it justice

Tuesday 26th May

Nothing going on today, Paul on nights but finished early, went out to get something tasty for tea and changed our penny collection, had a nice walk then home to watch The Incredible Hulk, had high hopes due to Edward Norton & Tim Roth, those hopes were dashed to the ground by this load of crap, 112 minutes I ain't getting back.

Monday 25th May

Whit Bank Holiday, walked to Wethers for breakfast, 200 calorie walk, 900 calorie breakfast, explains a lot !!! did some more DIY then watched the play off between Burnley and Sheffield Utd, next season Burnley will be in the Premiership, nice one, whilst channel hopping later fell onto League of Gentlemen so thought this photo fits the bill.

Sunday 24th May

Big football day today Newcastle relegated and we finished 5th, cycled to mums this morning and then lazed about all afternoon reading my book in the garden as weather is gorgeous for a change, just chilling out with a G&T watching Romancing The Stone, 'Joan Wilder, you and your sister can GO !!'

Saturday 23rd May

Happy Birthday Sean !!!! Went to Connie Club with Zena and her gang, had a really good time, the Connie Club has been moved into the Westminster Pub and it has been done out brilliantly.

Friday 22nd May

Went to Pams as she was babysitting Vicky's daughter Maisy, she was very entertaining and absolutely gorgeous, she also christened my jeans !!! I'm hoping that will be lucky for the lottery tonight !!!

Thursday 21st May

Back to gym, did 40 lengths of the pool which is nearly a quarter of a mile, made up with that, Rooney post barbers !!

Wednesday 20th May

Monthly tea out time, went to Bella Italia, great deal 2 main courses and a bottle of wine for twenty quid, I had a seafood linguine which was delightful.

Tuesday 19th May

Went to gym for first time, swam 25 lengths and had a steam, called to mums took this one of Rooney before his visit to the barbers.

Monday 18th May

Weather awful so doing a bit of DIY, did manage to plant up all my pots before the rain started.

Sunday 17th May

Quiet day after last night, walked to Hooton for car and then just chilled rest of the day. These are my birthday flowers.

Saturday 16th May

Had a great birthday, good wishes from everyone, lovely cards and fab pressies, went to Liverpool with Ken, Lucy, Les and Joe and had a ball, Paul treated us to a gorgeous meal at Valparaiso, a Latin American resturant in Hardman Street, food was ace, Les bought me a nice bottle so we drank that on the way over, a good day and night was had by all.

Birthday at office, this was my desk when I got in.

Thursday 14th May

Pam & I have joined the gym at The Woodhey the gym itself is quite small but got all the usual stuff, pool & steam room swung the deal.

Wednesday 13th May

Went for proper bike ride with Pam, well we did a hour and a half with a couple of chat breaks, this is not my bike but I defo have a fancy for it.

Tuesday 12th May

Watched Star Trek movie, did I enjoy it ? Are you outta your Vulcan mind !!!! of course I enjoyed it.

Sunday 10th May

Out for a drive and came across a load of bikers racing up and down the Vauxhall road, doing wheelies etc at over 100 mph, idiots but I did take a photo !!!

Saturday 9th May

Went to Talacre beach for a walk, met Les & Joe in Marquis to watch Liverpool game then back to theirs with a chinese take-away, special kung bo was a revelation, will defo have that again.

Eastham County Park, the bluebells are like a shimmering carpet, really gorgeous.

Watched Compulsion on the TV catch up, Ray Winstone was amazing, best bit of TV seen for ages.

Went to Dot's for coffee then to Barb's for tea, had a laugh with her & Chelle.

Went to Julie & Chris's for BBQ as it was Megans birthday, weather was lovely so sat outside til late.

Went to see Bob Dylan, rubbish, left after 40 minutes along with a lot of others, Echo Arena was brilliant though, definitely go there again when someone decent on .....
