Went to visit Colette, Haydn and Lucas then over to Eastham Ferry for a walk, came across this huge tree that had blown down in 2003, lovely walk, will defo add that one to the list.

Lucas's Christening, lovely service at Our Lady's Star of the Sea, Paul worked so went with mum, went to Labour Club for a couple of wines, mum had a great time chatting to Pauline & ex-boxer Alan Rudkin, Carolines uncle.

28th March

Saturday. Paul working so did the rounds, spent some time with Zena and Mia as we are having her overnight on Good Friday, took some lovely photos of her then promptly lost then when I transfered to computer, therefore this is a cheated photo but I love it anyway. Went to Swan to watch England game, met a few people hadn't seen for ages, came home after match and watched new Saving Grace. Lazy day.

Spring in the morning, hail at 1 o'clock, what is it with British weather !!!!

Had the day off as Paul was off, enjoyed a walk around the Wirral - Brimstage & Thornton Hough then to West Kirby for a late lunch and the Mail crossword, stayed out most of the day then back home to watch Burn after Reading, great day, great film.

Worked all day as year end is looming, weather atrocious so stayed in and did the Mail crossword, finished it with only a tiny bit of help from the Crossword Solva (sorta)

23rd March


Wethers on a school night, what is the world coming to !!! Met Kennyand Margie at The Wheatsheaf for a quick drink, walked up over the valley, extremely windy and very brisk, back home at 9ish and watched Gran Torino, Clint Eastwood was fantastic, great film.

22nd March


Mothers Day. Met Ken, Lucy, Gaz and Jan at a pub called the Bickerton Poacher in Malpas, had a very invigorating 6 mile hill walk on the Sandstone Trail then back to the pub for the Sunday carvery, delicious, Jan bought a bottle of champagne as a Mothers Day treat, very nice.

21st March


Cleared out loft so needed a treat, went over to LPool, got intoYates 5 mins before Ireland won the Grand Slam, visited The Pilgrim, Ye Olde Crack and went to Zorbas for a lovely meal, most enjoyable.

Took mum shopping for her birthday present, went to Next on the Coliseum and got her some nice summery tops and a light cardie, finally finished Icebreaker on my own !!! Lowest score ever seen !!!

Went to see Marley & Me with Barb & Chelle, very light and enjoyable but definately needed tissues !! Had a drink back at Barbs and watched Leannes wedding video, Paul picked me up on his way home from work at 1am ish.

Lauren's christening at St Paul's, went to Oak Room later for drinks, it was great to see all the kids and Ken & Lucy came over so it was a lovely day all round.

Friday the 13th !!! Paul, old romantic that he is, asked me to join him at our towns recycling plant, it is one of his favourite places !!!

12th March




Went into Llandovery Wells and enjoyed a bowl of Cawl, a lamb and leak dish served with crusty bread and a chunk of cheese, also had £5 each way on Kayf Aramis which romped home at 16 to 1, happy days !!!

Went for a long walk on Pendine Sands, the beach is vast and was used in the 20's for the land speed record trails.

10th March




Went into Tenby during the day, had a bet on the Cheltenham Festival, very enjoyable day, came back to Pendine to change for dinner at a local resturant that has Camarthenshire lamb as its speciality, partook of a delicious glasss of bubbly whilst getting ready, very nice.
