Tuesday 29th September

Took Mia's presents round, this is Giggling Fifi bought by Andy, Mia was quite taken with it, she also loved the gifts from myself, Ang and my mum as we had bought her clothes and she is a real clothes horse !!!

Monday 28th September

Paul got new computer, early birthday present, he loves his Aldi computers !!! Sean & I went shopping to TK Maxx for Mia's birthday, it was yesterday but as Zena was sunning herself in Majorca, we are celebrating tomorrow !!

Sunday 27th September

Ken over for work, picked him up at Liverpool, over to Manchester for a late tea at The Gurka Grill, food as always was great and lovely to have both boys together.

Saturday 26th September

Boys wanted a Spanish day, Sean's meatballs in a salsa sauce were a great success, Paul did egg plant and red pepper dip, very nice, I supervised naturally!! Also stayed quite sensible on account on weigh-in on Monday.

Friday 25th September

Pam and I are following Rosemary Conley plan, the new scam is Portion Pots which obviously we had to have, I feel thinner already !!!!

PS The yellow one is the wine measure !!!

Thursday 24th September

Chelle came for tea, Sean had cooked swedish meatballs with italian pasta sauce and a greek salad, it was delightful, I provided the brownies, Chelle brought the wine, the kids then played on the Wii while I went to Pams.

Tuesday 21st Sept

Mad busy at work, accounts galore !! Doing all week as Zena away, when we were in Salou I used card in ATM for 300 euro, card came out money didn't !! Phoned bank and they could see I had drawn money, I would have to check when I got home, just phoned them and it had been sorted, money out, money back in!! This is the said machine...

Sunday 20th Sept

Back to UK, got home about 12ish, Swan for lunch and stayed to watch Everton match, we took DVD away with us and watched The Tudors, it was fantastic, great bit of drama.

Saturday 19th Sept

Last day, just chilled out, had a last walk around and went for a gorgeous meal, Petit Bar, only place in Salou full every night, food was amazing.

Friday 18th Sept

Went to Aquapolis, had a great day even though the slides were a bit more scary than I remembered, sea lion and dolphin show rounded the day off nicely, went to The Cottage Bar and won the quiz !!

Thursday 17th Sept

Went to Tarragona, lovely place, had a picnic in the park, cheese pan and vino tinto, delightful! Amazing statue on Las Ramblas.

Wednesday 16th Sept

Bikes again, did about 20kms, really enjoyed it, went to Dutch bar to watch Liverpool in Champions league game.

Tuesday 15th September

Rained in the morning but soon brightened up, went out for tapas, Le Raco del Tapas, got a bit carried away, no problem though Paul had tortilla for breakfast !!

Found this place called Wok, an all you can eat fish place, you picked the fish and took it to the chef for him to cook it for you, Paul was in his element !!.

Made some lunch at apartment and sat on terrace, I did the salad, Paul did the soup !!

Saturday 12th Sept

Seen a bar called Shankleys when on bus to La Pineda, decided to go in as they had a bookie and Chester races were on, won 65 euro so made up for the fact that the bar was so red !!!

Friday 11th Sept

Went to La Pineda, when we came back went to this great place called Glorias, most delicious rioja ever, Primvm Joven, people were really lovely too.

Thursday 10th Sept

Hired bikes and cycled to Cambrils, it is a lovely little place.

Wednesday 9th Sept

Boat to Cambrils for market day, tasty lunch then walked the 8kms back.

Tuesday 8th Sept

Bought bat and ball and went down the beach, sea was great and beach was not too busy.

Monday 7th Sept

Had a delicious 'Del dia' at a little place called P I Oli.

Sunday 6th September

Went to Salou for a couple of weeks, had a little explore, stopped for a small beer, first and last in an 'english' bar, woman who owned it was from Hope Farm Road !!!

Saturday 5th September

Ken came over for the afternoon/evening, played on the Buzz, Sean battered us again !! Yeoman for tea, food is amazing there, back home for some cava and golf on the Wii for the boys, Ken getting last train back to Crewe and we are getting ready for a 3.30am start tomorrow !!

Friday 4th September

As its my last day for a bit we are having a Spanish themed lunch, Sean made a delicious tortilla, his first attempt and Andy provided the Cava, holiday starts here !!!!

Thursday 3rd September

Went to TK Maxx for a bit of last minute holiday shopping, could not resist this Bench jacket for Miss Mia.

Wednesday 2nd September

Went for a walk, first one in ages, due to weather/being ill, really enjoyed it and felt great afterwards, looking forward to some good walking in Salou. Started watching the Star Wars trilogy, didn't realise Empire Strikes Back was so good.

Tuesday 1st September

Back to work after long weekend, got loads to do before going off for 2 weeks, went to get hair done, got my priorities right !!!

Monday 31st August

Started to get stuff together got hols, made Jamie Olivers Chicken & Leak pie which went down well with Paul & Sean, had a laugh with The Movie quiz on the buzz, Sean battered us !!!
