Monday 29th June

Before we left for home, tried out Badmington set bought at the booty yesterday.

Sunday 28th June

Went to Holyhead, found a great car boot sale and picked up a few books, back to camp for BBQ and a couple of glasses of Malbec, very civilized. Mirror on road back to the camp provided us with some amusement !

Saturday 27th June

Went camping to Betws-Y-Coed, had a brill time, the surrounding area is delightful, so much to see and loads of great walks, tent was really comfy and of course decent weather makes all the difference.

Friday 26th June

Had the pool to ourselves again, quite delightful !!

Thursday 25th June

Michael Jackson died. I'm sure everyone has at least one Michael Jackson/Jackson 5 song they like, radio playing his stuff, forgotten how may good tunes he had wrote/sang.

Wednesday 24th June

Picnic at Whitby Park, gorgeous evening in the park with Pam & Pam, back to training tomorrow.

Tuesday 23rd June

Played squash at Hooton, only one court left now, had a great time, really enjoyed it, booked again for Thursday.

Monday 22nd June

Paul on nights again, Pam and I went for a run on park, playing squash tomorrow and racquets have gone missing, went to Sports Direct and got new ones, really looking forward to getting a game tomorrow.

Sunday 21st June

Summer Solstice. Also Fathers Day, took a bottle round to my dads then dropped off some chocolates for Reg, had another lazy Sunday, lovely, walked up Swan for a couple, tucked up early with my book, I am really enjoying Jodi Picoult's stuff, its a bit different from the usual.

Saturday 20th June

Lovely relaxing day, went to Thurstaston about 5ish, walked along the beach to Caldy then back thru Wirral Way, back to car and starving so went to Mezze for tea, food delicious as always, persuaded Paul to watch Mamma Mia when we got home, got Voulez Vous stuck in my head for my trouble!!

Friday 19th June

Had a great swim and steam, pool to ourselves, the way we like it !! Fifth night off the evil drink, a record for this blog !! Can't beat a lovely cup of tea.

Thursday 18th June

No much going on, work, nails done, went back to park later to continue our training for 10km. Watched 'Boy in Striped Pyjamas' quite harrowing, the young actors wer fab though. I think I need a cheerful pic to post today, Thailand 2007 when we were all together.

Wednesday 17th June

Went for a swim, Sky have televised Martina's 'The Take', first two episodes were excellent, stuck to the book as much as possible, two more to follow.

Tuesday 16th June

Went for a run at Whitby Park, starting quite slowly but felt good afterwards, forgot how good the park was.

Monday 15th June

Signed up for 10km on 6th September 2009 at Delamere, training plan is on the go, swam today, running starts tomorrow, these are my new trainers that I hope will do most of the running for me !!

Sunday 14th June

Race for Life at Chester, started at Roodee then thru the city, went for brunch later and sat in lovely courtyard in the sun, very enjoyable day all round.

Saturday 13th June

Went to Parkgate again, did a 5km brisk walk in prep for tomorrow, took in a bit of cricket at Neston CC again, went home for lovely fish tea and watched The Deep, first watched it at Odeon Liverpool late 70's, West Ham playing Mighty Blues the next day, entire team took the front row, no-one batted an eyelid, wouldn't happen today.

Friday 12th June

Went to Parkgate for a walk and an ice cream, watched the kids playing cricket at Neston CC, it was a lovely evening.

We've been robbed !!! , not quite sure why but everyone else's computer nicked and both of mine not touched ! Funniest thing of the day was Zena had been going on and on and on about new jeans, they arrived yesterday but she was off so left on her desk, not there this morning !!!!

My office at 9.00am today.

Steak night at Wethers, two sirloins and a cheeky red for £14.99, you can't whack it !!!

Monday 8th June

Went to Wirral Country Park for a favourite walk, up to Willaston, came home to watch Twenty20's world cup, must say I am enjoying it.

Sunday 7th June

Not much going on today, been touring the pound shops, Paul cannot believe that everything is ... wait for it, a pound !!! Also bought new bags for our future weekend jaunts to Madrid, mine the purple one .

Saturday 6th June

Ang, Tammy, Angel and Andy came for a visit to mums, Angel was ace, really good fun and just a lovely little girl, nice to see my sister after about a year !!!

Friday 5th June

Back at Church woods, reminiscing about fishing and not fishing when Paul set up all his gear just 2 minutes before Sean decided to cut open his finger !!! A quick visit to A&E ensued.....

Thursday 4th June

Went for a walk to the woods behind St Paul's, a real favourite when our Rock was here, it is thanks to him that we discovered the joys of walking and all the best places to go.

Have not seen tadpoles for donkey's years

Wednesday 3rd June

Paul was on a night out so I just sat out in the garden with the Mail crossie, 'Just chillin out, havin a Bud !!! '

Tuesday 2nd June

Another lovely day, Barb called in and we had glass of Everton red, very nice indeed.
